Yes! We offer secure and convenient online therapy sessions, allowing you to receive the same high-quality support from the comfort of your own space. We still see each other in real-time, but virtual sessions come with many benefits. You don’t have to spend time driving to an office or worry about the commute home after an intense session. With online therapy, you can seamlessly fit sessions into your schedule—whether that means jumping into a session during a break or getting right back to your day afterward. All you need is a private space and a stable internet connection to get started. If you’re interested in virtual therapy, we’d be happy to discuss how it can work for you!

We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time may be charged the full session rate.

Typically, we recommend meeting once per week, especially at the beginning of therapy. Weekly sessions provide consistency and momentum, allowing us to build a strong therapeutic relationship and make meaningful progress toward your goals. Regular sessions also help reinforce new skills, coping strategies, and insights between appointments. As therapy progresses, session frequency may be adjusted based on your needs. Some clients choose to meet less frequently as they gain confidence in applying what they’ve learned, while others may prefer to continue weekly for ongoing support. We’ll work together to determine the best schedule for you!

Every session is tailored to your unique needs and goals. In a typical session, you can expect a safe, supportive, and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Your therapist will work collaboratively with you, using evidence-based approaches to help you gain insight, develop coping strategies, and work toward positive change. For individual therapy, sessions often focus on personal growth, managing stress, and addressing specific concerns. Couples and family therapy sessions provide a space to strengthen relationships, improve communication, and resolve conflicts. With children and teens, therapy may incorporate creative techniques such as play, art, or interactive activities to help them express themselves comfortably.Your therapist will guide the process, but your sessions are a space for you to share at your own pace. If you have any questions or specific preferences, we encourage open communication to ensure you feel supported every step of the way.

Our therapists use a variety of evidence-based modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs. These may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, EMDR, Mindfulness-Based Approaches, and more. Each therapist brings their own specialized training and approach, but all share a commitment to providing care with empathy, compassion, and a focus on your well-being. If you’re looking for a specific modality, we’re happy to help match you with a therapist who fits your needs.

Always check with your insurance company first to find out if you need a referral from your doctor or your insurance company.

If your insurance doesn’t cover therapy or we are out -ofnetwork, we can provide a superbill—a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Many clients with out-of-network benefits receive partial reimbursement, but coverage varies by plan.We recommend checking with your insurance provider to ask about out -ofnetwork mental health benefits. Some helpful questions to ask include:

1. Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
2. What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed?
3. Is there a deductible I need to meet first?
4. How do I submit a superbill for reimbursement?

We are happy to discuss payment options to help make therapy accessible for you. Let us know how we can support you!
